Internal Revenue Service rules have opened up a back-door through which illegal immigrants can obtain an Individual Taxpayer Information Number (ITIN), which in turn helps them enter the U.S. credit market.

The IRS uses ITINs to process tax payments owed by people who are not eligible for a Social Security Number. It is issued regardless of immigration status to people living both inside and outside the country

This is part of the reason I appreciate your support for Baldwin. This kind of nonsense goes on under the present one party system and no one really seems to care!

We swallow the line that, 'A is not quite as bad as B so I am going to vote for A.' All the time ignoring the fact that A's party has been slowly but surely destroying the very fabric of US society. So A's party goes right on with this kind of nonsense giving ILLEGAL aliens more and more rights and opportunities.

Anyone really think this is going to change under another Rep administration? Anyone think it will change under a Dems administration? No, because they don't really care and won't care as long as people play along with their 'puppet on a string' politics.

I believe inflation will skyrocket if we removed the Illegal Aliens. Where an American will want $10 with benefits an Alien will take $7 with no benefits. I think both parties are scared to beat that hornets nest. I still believe this problem needs to be addressed. If nothing else, we can secure the boarder to secure the country and keep the problem from growing.

Exactly, because all that counts is being elected. Neither will deal with this issue cause they haven't a clue.

Being elected is what it is all about, not fact or what is best for the country. They are just like the average person on the street, what is best for me. The politician is like so many of us, we know what is best but we do what is best for me, the politician wants from the government and so many folks want from the government. Sad but true!

The good news is that with the economy going South, some of the illegal aliens are going South, too.

Inflation will skyrocket anyway. That's what happens when more fiat currency is printed to cover the devaluation of the fiat currency.

I read this, from several sites. The MSM seems to be ignoring that.

If anyone needs a reason to not vote for McCain, he wanted to foist that one on the working class, as well.I'd like to know where Palin stood on this....

The men and women who come here and are willing to work for a low wage are hard workers. They have a good work ethic and only want to have a better life. I can't blame them. However, it's their children that I'm worried about. They, I am afraid, won't share their parent's work ethic when they learn of a government who wants to buy their votes with entitlement programs. After all, why work when there is welfare and other government entitlement programs? We automatically make them U.S. citizens for simply being born within our borders which is going to cost us big time in the very near future. They will vote, not for the ultimate good of the nation, but for the next entitlement program. Welcome, not to the greatest nation in the world but to another third world country compliments of politicians like Obama and McCain who are only worried about getting elected. God help us!!

Before you go too far, it's their parents who are putting the strain on the social programs to include medicade/medicare. To say they "all" some with great work ethics and contribute to the cuase isn't true. Now I will admit there are some who work hard and contribute much but the fact they have illegal before their title says they need to be addressed.

People loosing their future, sleeping in streets and making the ultimate sacrifice in two wars and the most you guys can worry about is someone's birth certificate - I mean legal status?

Surely someone must be vetting all these supposed illegals before they are given Federal ID Numbers or medical care or food stamps or an education or a job or a driver's license or a mortgage or whatever.

    Tongue in cheek for LeBuick:wavey:
