Rom 5:8-10 But God commended his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

So I say again: the conclusion of what you're saying is that people are saved, they just don't know it. True or false?

What you're saying the verse says. So have I correctly summarized your position? Please answer my question, so we can continue reasoning together.

Do you agree with it ?

    Again:

Are those Christ died for reconciled to God while they are yet enemies / unbelievers according to Rom 5:10 ? Yes or No ?

I've answered your question by asking you one to make sure I understand your position.

Please answer my question, and then we can continue to reason together.

No you did not answer it in the way I asked you, with a Yes or No, but yet you ask me to answer a question with a yes or no, that is hypocritical ?

Savedbymercy, Don asked you a legitimate question and he asked you first. So answer it.

    Or let me guess...

    "It's a mystery."

Your question was to get me to agree or disagree with you, which I can't do until I know I've correctly understood you. My question was to ensure that I understand you. Do you not understand the difference?

Forget 'saved' for a minute. 'Saved', IMO, has become one gommed up word. Is it an unimaginable thing for you that someone could belong to God and not know it?

Does the saving process ever stop ? No. We have been saved, we are being saved, we shall be saved. Let's say I am going to buy a beagle pup from a breeder. He has a litter that is not weaned yet and I go to his kennels and pick out the one I want. I elected the pup. The breeder agree's to hold it for me until the price is paid. A week later the pup is weaned, I go pick up the pup and pay the asking price and go home with the pup. In my mind and in the breeders mind the minute I picked or elected which pup I wanted it was mine. The instant God elected me to salvation I was his even though the price had not been paid. But God knew the price would be paid by his Son more so than I knew I would pay for the pup. Again when Christ paid the price in blood for my redemption, I was his as much as when I paid the breeder for the pup. Again at my conversion when his Son was revealed in my heart, I was his and he was mine as much as when the pup came to the realization that he belonged to me.

An unbeliever that belongs to God, who dies in unbelief, yet has a place in heaven -- is a completely unimaginable thing for me.

I will repeat Ephesians 2:3 for your edification!

"children of wrath" sounds like they {we} were in a state of condemnation. And they {we} are until regeneration occurs because they {we} are spiritually dead in their {our} sins according to Ephesians 2:1.
