Is gossip a problem on BB?

Who is it you are wanting clarification on? :laugh:

 

Well, I don't go around spreading rumors. You'll never hear me repeating gossip, so you better listen close the first time. :laugh:

 

To seriously answer your question, I'm not sure. If it goes on in PM it's hard to detect.

 

I guess it depends on what you mean by gossip. Do you mean members talking about someone else through PMs or email? Do you mean members spreading something about another member(open forum or pm or email) that was supose to be secret? Or do you mean discussions about people in the news, more public people then most of us here?

You might explain a little first please.

 

It was once detectable by everyone here during a 2 hour period when another poster(who was repeatedly banned for being a troll), had private information about me they gained from a buddy of their here on the board, whom I thought was my very good freind. Anyway, they plastered it all over the board, in every forum.
It was obvious there had been some gossip, and sharing of private emails, which the so called friend had kept.

I, too remember the old Hee-Haw show. Great, clean humor. The late Jerry Clower and the late Grady Nutt were both outstanding Christian witnessess, on the show. Our loss at not being able to hear them, is Heaven's gain.

No problem at all.

Some folks seem to become quite proficent at it, in most any setting.

I'm sure they are well able to adapt their talents to about any setting - - - -including the BB! :tear:

Lots of gossip in PMs, and the PMs are part of the BB.
Discussing peolpe who have a public life isn't the same.
