is it best To read Grammer First When Exegeting the Biblical Text?

    Wiorked through the Mounce Greek Grammer, now trying to "tackle" one by Daniel Wallace..

    IF in the Greek text on bible software, instead of running to word studies, commentaries etc for the verse/passage looking over, would it be best to actually read to see whar Dr allace wrote in His grammer concerning those verses? Then with that background, go into other ways to study the Word?
