    Oh, like Acts 12:4?

    HankD
</font>[/QUOTE]Please, Hank, don't pervert Scripture. God has never identified the pagan ritual of Easter with the Passover, check the time frame. "Easter" is correct. The Passover was already past in Acts 12:4.

Be careful GG, this is close (but not quite) to blasphemy against the Holy Ghost (Spirit), to attribute to Satan what the Spirit does in the lives of many believers.

    Larry:
How do you know what the fatcs are then? You just spent about two hundred words trying to convince me that no one really knows what the right MSS are.

It seems you know a tremendous amount about the subject at hand, but yet know nothing. Hmmm? I wonder what we can call that? Got any words to fit that?

Let's see? Walks , waddles, quacks, has feathers,....

Then why couldn't He use the nkjv inspite of it's many fallacies to bring people to Christ? [Lord's name in vain snipped] Kevin, learn to differentiate. Granny Gumbo has got more wisdom in her little finger than you school boys probably will ever have.

Translators don't print Bibles. Printers don't translate Bibles. Bibles don't translate printers and Bibles also don't print translators. But we do have the Bible translated by holy, educated , men. The AV 1611 KJB.

I suppose the niv and all the rest of the mv's neither capitalize the "s" nor have any printer's errors, but we do see the trend that many are giving satan dominion where he actually has none. So ye be the judge, choose you this day whom ye will serve....

Don't give me some paradim shift.
Of course i'm consfused. So what does BTSOAD mean?
I know how to look it up, Ralph, i just don't want to
croak before i can find it [IMG]

    1 Timothy 5: 1-2 (KJV1769):

    1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father;
    and the younger men as brethren;
2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters,
    with all purity.

"Pops" will work, but "Sir" sure is kool [IMG]

QuickeningSpirit: "-author of the AV 1611 KJB; known, not confused"

Amen, Bro. QuickeningSpirit -- Preach it!

One question: why to most KJBOs not use the
    book i call "KJV1611"?
Come to think of it, i don't know one KJBO who
used KJB1611. In fact, some eschew the KJV1611.

Not this self-righteous judgemental hateful insulting hypocrite! I had opportunity to git one about 4 years ago and didn't, it looked rather poorly binded, but i got one coming from Local Church Bible Publishers in the mail, ud, UPS. Rather nicely done, hope yours is of decent quality. I really love to just look at the spelling and come to the realization, since there was atime when people really did write and spell like that, they must of been just a wee-bit brighter than we could really know! And we have scholars who complain about the way it reads, then throw off on the 17, uh, 62, not 69, revision of spelling and punctuation.

And beyond the shadow of a doubt, I know I have God's Word in the AV 1611 KJB to the English speaking people, it had to be God for anyone to understand the Original 1611, wouldn't you say?

Oh, don't run yourself down too bad :(
I'd let you get away with
semi-"self-righteous judgemental hateful insulting hypocrite" [IMG]

What was this topic about to start with?
I keep forgetting. Oh yes, the
    intellectual dishonesty. Well, i suppose
one needs to call the KJVs something,
the date of translation would be acceptable.
But i sure dislike having to use
    "KJV1611AV (1769) all the time,
everybody remembers that it was translated
in 1611 and what is different is
    the date of the Edition.

So i'm going to stick with KJV1611, KJV1769,
and KJV1873 -- the three most likely to
be available around where folks are.
Well anyway, those are the three i have
around on my computer desk, and except
for the KJV1769, i have to type from
the book, cause i can't find any electronic
    copy except from the KJV1769.
