Just heard on MSNBC - another attack into Pakistan... and another 36 dead.

Seems like Obama just wanted his own war.

How long before he brings out the nukes like he talked about during the debates?

I guess now that a democrat is president, you want to tuck tail and run from this War on Terrorism. Remember, the one your hero, George W. Bush initiated?

It was Bin Laden who attacked us. Seem like the right-wing, pro-military, terrorist-hating, Iraq-invading right-wingers would be in favor of going after him no matter where he was. Didn't Bush, shortly after 9/11, say that we would go after these terrorists no matter where they are?

Just like the left accused Bush of wanting war with Iraq before he got in the White House. Obama got his war. I hope the left enjoys it. The difference is, Pakistan can nuke back.

he's fighting the real war going after terrorists instead of fighting for control of the Middle East and the oil.

So dead civilian Pakistanis are worth less than Iraqis ? Have you seen intelligence that we haven't ? Is this choosing peace and not war ?

And how much oil do we get annually from Iraq, before & after the bi-partisan invasion ?

Oh wait, you NEVER answer challenges.

    Sorry Charlie right back atcha.

I don't remember you whining about the dead Iraqi citizens who were caught up in a war of Bush's choosing. But, now in a fight against the real terrorists you suddenly are concerned about collateral damage. Kinda fishy if you ask me.

Engineers are supposed to be rational thinkers, The good ones are. Your thinking is totally irrational: no sympathy for the unborn babies who are slaughtered but sympathy for America hating leftists and the ranting of America hating conspiracy nuts.

My but I can't help but notice that it seems that I have struck a nerve with you.

I have a sense that you are not responding to anything that I have posted but merely to your own visceral feelings.

Can you point to anything which I have ever posted which indicates that I want to "tuck tail and run from this War on Terrorism"?

Can you direct me to anything that I have ever posted that indicates that "George W. Bush is now or ever has been my "hero"?

Do you have private knowledge that Bin Laden was the target of the attack or that he was even in the area at the time?

You know all that anger is bad for your blood pressure.

I guess Dragonfly has missed my challenges of the Iraqis that Clinton & Gore killed as well. But I guess they only weep for the victims of GOP administrations.

Thank you very much, Mitch. It means a lot to me that people remember.:wavey:

Also, Bush went to war with bi-partisan support, even after the 2006 election, the dems signed off on every war funding bill, so I consider it very bi-partisan. I haven't yet seen the bill to start bombing Pakistan, when did the dems tell Bush not to do it ?

Also, Bush got elected promising to continue the wars, Obama got elected promising to end them. He did not promise a war with yet another sovereign nation.

If I remember correctly Obama made several statements in his campaign, although somewhat vague, that he wanted to see troops deal with the elements in Pakistan. I am not so sure what he is doing is inconsistent with much of what he said during his campaign.

But if he was one of those who cried out about collateral damage just as many have done on this board then both are now completely inconsistent and have revealed their personal intent.

So obviously, neither is any other president that committed such acts. Thank you.

We're talking about orders of magnitude between what Bush did in Iraq (an unjust war) and what Obama is doing with surgical strikes in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He didn't invade and occupy the country with 150,000 troops. Don't you think this is an entirely different situation.
