Speaking of Driscoll, he has a new book coming out. It looks pretty good.

All that dark neo-gothic (i guess) type art is depressing. Having lived through some of what is in that book I would never have wanted to have any explanation presented to me in such a dark and dreary way. What a downer.

Kind of eery, I guess. I trust, though, that Driscoll is going to explain salvation to those who are going through these situations in a great way. There's not a book out there like it, that's for sure (that I know of). Hopefully people will see the message of Jesus in a way they never thought would make sense to them.

Well I do hope it has any success intended to glorify God. But it is eery to be sure.

I consider historical Christianity and biblical Christianity to be two very different things.

Like every other church in every other culture in historical Christianity, the postmodern church is biblical at times and unbiblical at other times.

So I guess the postmodern church is definitely like historical Christianity and sometimes like biblical Christianity.

Interesting point which brings a question to mind ... I will start a new thread on "What is a Biblical Church?"
