    Consequences of being a Pharisee???

Billionaire right-wing godfather Richard Mellon Scaife — who famously funded an investigation of Bill Clinton's sex life that resulted in a presidential impeachment — is having female troubles of his own.

But the pooch, a golden Lab named Beauregard, seems the least of Scaife's troubles. At stake in what is shaping up as one of the nastiest divorces in American history is a fortune estimated at $1.2 billion.

In December, Mrs. Scaife was arrested outside of Mr. Scaife's Shadyside home and charged with defiant trespass after refusing to leave. Mr. Scaife, who was home at the time, called police, saying Mrs. Scaife was pounding on doors and peeking in windows.

How about the consequences of being so rich you believe everything you do — and think — is right because you've been able to buy (or at least rent) assent all your life?

The good news, of course, is that the dimwit spent a substantial portion of his wealth in an attempt to make Bill Clinton an unpopular one-term president. Money down a rathole. And Scaife loves his money.

Sometimes, reality is the best possible punishment.

These are ridiculous attacks on Scaife. There is nothing in the article suggesting that Scaife did anything wrong leading to the divorce. It was his wife, not him being led away in handcuffs. ASLANSPAL I expect this from but you two are better than that.

It's a fact that Scaife paid huge sums in his attempt to get Clinton. The fact that he failed is sufficient punishment. Would you like to see some data on that?

Personally, I don't care whether Scaife owns the dog or not. And his marital problems are his concern, not mine.

Amen. But, you and the other libs will certainly take much glee in it...so much so that you will start a thread about it.

I didn't start a thread about it. Who knows, maybe his wife is worse than he is.

He's just another guy with inherited wealth, who thinks it entitles him to tilt the political process.

That's why I have no respect for him. As I said, his personal problems are his own.

Are you suggesting two personalities there FTR or just a slip of the fingers? LOL

I dont know this person, or know of him, but think its mighty interesting that an entire article is written about someone with the lowest level of informational value that it equates to nothing but gossip. Thanks for sharing though.

    Greetings FTR:

I trust that all is well in your neck of the woods.

Would you feel the same if the person in question were George Soros?

As for Scaife, David Brock paints quite an interesting picture of Richard Mellon Scaife in his book Blinded By The Right.

Regards from Tennessee (northwest of Chattanooga),
