    Just Google or Yahoo dude!

I admit it's been quite some time since I visited Canada KJ, but if memory serves correctly youse guys got sky there too. It's really easy to check it out and you need no special equipment.

    Equipment list.

1.) At least one half way decent operating eyeball.

    2.) A sunny day.

Sunglasses, camera, comfortable chair and a favorite beverage are optional. ;)

Let me explain what you see. The planes are obviously crossing a VOR or VORTAC (a radio location transmitter on the ground) or a simple electronic intersection (found on the pilots map & located using GPS or Inertial Nav). The planes are all at different altitudes. The altitudes being seperated by air-traffic controllers.

Due to the slant range (the angle at which you are viewing the stacked contrails). You will see a criss-cross pattern shown in your picture. It is impossible to say just how many of these "crossings" actually cross each other, but at two or three miles vertical difference.

Besides, this you have planes which cross that intersection at different distances. Planes fly in their lanes very much like cars. Right hand going one way, left hand going the other way. Contrails will also show a difference due to direction.

This, and the fact that wind blows contrails at different altitudes at different speeds, planes don't always hit the intersections that accurately (they have a certain amount of slop allowed for instrument accuracy), etc. ...you have checker board patterns often forming.

Have you ever taken a look at any of the sites on the web that show just how many commercial planes (alone, let alone private jets) that are in the air at any one time over the US?

Does the military use non-piloted planes over US airspace--that would be classified, but don't worry, nobody is dumping chemicals on your head.

...and Granny, those spidery like things hanging on the fence posts are "just that" --spider webs built the night before on the fences and catching the early morning dew.

Oh, and often patterns like you show above occur as the wind blows the contrails. The earlier crossings will be off-set by the speed of the wind, while newer contrails will not have blown yet, so they will appear to be at a different location. Especially if the wind is at an angle from the direction of the contrail.

Notice in your picture that there are new and old contrails and an enormous difference in altitude between contrails (which may not be obvious if you are not familiar with this concept).

Chemtrails are global. Arizona has it's share too. [IMG]

</font>[/QUOTE]Thank you for the explanation. I didn't realize that design engineers were that deeply involved in scientific studies of the atmosphere. Learn something new every day I guess. [IMG]

I live near the airport & see them in Nashville, too. I thought they were just National Reserve pilots messing around getting in their hours.

And here all this time, I thought my sinusitis flares were due to ragweed!

Thanks for letting me know about chemtrails - that, plus all the jet fuel blowing over from the airport and the gas & diesel fumes blowing over from I40 helps me know it's a doggone miracle we're still alive.

Nice try, Phillip, but as usual, you are wrong! There is no "dew" in the afternoon, none on the long sticky/rubbery string-like stuff, oftimes a purplish hue, and these aren't made by spiders. Believe what ya wanna, I know what we see.

If that were the measuring rod, we'd all still be believing that the four elements are earth, air, fire, and water.

I was just wondering how someone could analyze the substance you found in your location from theirs without actually laying hands on it Granny.

The refresher course in VOR flight was pretty accurate though, thanks Phillip. I still don't understand how I missed all these huge "contrails" 20 years ago. Back then they seemed alot smaller and would disappear in a few minutes whereas today they just hang and hang and hang then turn into what looks like cloud cover.

Actually, the substance looks eerily similar to silk spun by several varieties of night-feeding ground spiders, as well as several nocturnal larval grubs. We get 'em here too, especialy in the insect mating seasons (late spring to mid-summer). We also get 'em under the eaves of the homes in hillside areas like mine. In most cases, a liberal dosing of insecticide keeps them at bay for about 4 weeks.

Thanks Johnv, now we can be reasonably sure that chemtrails aren't insecticide. If they were the spiders wouldn't be spinning. [IMG]

Well, not to be outdone, I done something I ain't never done before...I googled for that substance...not knowing where to start, I simply typed in chemtrail substance+spider webs...I grabbed one of the first sites and found this (it also has pics-also has some terminology I'm not familiar with or would agree with):

"Observation and analysis indicates that the material received appears to be a polymer of some type, which is both extremely elastic and adhesive. Due to these characteristics, it is possible that the material examined may act as a carrier mechanism. The material is white in color, and has to the naked eye an appearance similiar to cobwebs or spider webs. Upon magnification, the individual strands are seen to be wave like, or 'kinky' in nature, and tend to coalesce and congeal very easily."

    STATEMENT BY THE EYEWITNESS:
"On the 2nd of November I saw all those cobwebs I had never seen before and was wondering if it was from the chemtrails. I had seen dozen of chemtrails/day lately. There seemed to be 2 planes going nonstop all day long for days. More than ever before. I went home for q-tips and gloves and plastic bags to pick some. I picked from 1-2 dozen sagebrush bushes on one q-tip. It was around 4 pm. The next day I was considering to go out again but was just too tired to do that. I felt poisoned and waited till the next day and went out for some more at the same place. There was not much left by then. On the 2nd I saw those white cobwebs on the road, in the parking lot and also in my driveway and in the street outside my house and on my house and fence and in my backyard. It was flying around "everywhere" when I went outside . Even my little petfrog was hiding and I was concerned he was sick too. My 13 year old German Shepherd had a plugged up nose. Several people were coming down with respiratory problems. Last winter we hardly saw the sun all winter because of chemtrails. This is High Desert where we normally have a blue sky. The chemtrails last winter were grey. Now they seem to be white. There is a difference in color. We are a handful of people here who listen to Art Bell and keep an eye on the sky. Last winter a lot of people had severe respiratory problems and burning eyes and tiredness which we believe has to do with these chemtrails. Some were even coughing up blood. We are a few people here who have started working with naturespirits and the Devas [granny here: sounds new-agey to me] to neutralize and transmute the effects of the chemtrails so they will not make us sick any more and we are feeling better after that. We are hoping it is going to work and protect us in the future?????we'll see.."

Sorry Johnv, I didn't see your post...was not trying to steal your thunder. (Or maybe that should be the sonic boom from chem-trail generators.)
