It is my opinion [and mine to own] that same-gender folks believe, deep down, within, that with the full force of the United States government's approval and societies acceptance of their lifestyle and marriages, that God will have no other option then to accept them and their marriages, too! I base this above opinion on discussions I've had with same-gender folks who call themselves believers. They throw up in my face that the local, county and state municipalities and the federal government and courts have accepted his or her lifestyle, which means I should as well as my particular form of faith. They are adamant, and trust the court rulings and laws that say they are okay. This is an unfortunate state of affairs, and like I tell them, it doesn't matter what mankind thinks. It only matters what God thinks about their sin. The entire goal of this portion of our society's population is to normalize their sin, and by doing so, they can argue that mankind, and its governing agencies and courts have accepted them as being "Okay" which must mean that God, in time, will do likewise? What they don't realize is that God does not change His view on sin, no matter how persuasive the argument may be. In fact they should have learned from the Scripture in Matthew 7:21-23, The Message (MSG) - where those standing before God at judgment argue for being let into heaven. Jesus told us that, “Knowing the correct password—saying ‘Master, Master,’ for instance—isn’t going to get you anywhere with me. What is required is serious obedience—doing what my Father wills. I can see it now—at the Final Judgment thousands strutting up to me and saying, ‘Master, we preached the Message, we bashed the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking.’ And do you know what I am going to say? ‘You missed the boat. All you did was use me to make yourselves important. You don’t impress me one bit. You’re out of here.’" The churches that tell these folks, they are acceptable in the eyes of God; and even ordain them into the ministry of the Gospel, will have the blood of an entire group of humanity upon their hands for twisting the truth, and itching their ears with messages they paid to hear. They are not on the Narrow Path, but rather on the Highway to Hell. A highway jam-packed with folks who have rejected God and His Son. A highway in gridlock with folks who think that "God loves everyone, despite their sinful ways!" A highway of lost souls, commiserating with each other, and philospically and logically absolving one anothers sins through their own vain understandings of a Holy God. A Holy God that they have brought down to their level, immersing Him in the pit of their darkness and sinful ways, believing He will surely be for them when the day of judgment comes. And as the version of His word above so aptly put its, the last thing they will hear before they head to eternal damnation will be: "You missed the boat. All you did was use me to make yourselves important. You don’t impress me one bit. You’re out of here." And this ending is so sad, because His Grace, in this life, is so easily found and had. It just takes a repentant heart, and the willingness to go in a new and different direction once His Grace is received, and the blood of Jesus is applied.
