    Brother Aaron....

    ...You nailed Zaac to the wall on this one. Well put. But, be ready for a moral onslaught and a bushel full of names poured over your body and witness. :laugh:

    Going back to the original question if I may....

    For the context of this question I propose three scenarios for the homosexual whose salvation is in question. In all three cases our culture would consider them homosexual in orientation.

    1. Someone who has persistent same sex attraction but remains abstinent

    2. Someone who suffers from persistent same sex attraction, tries to fight it but commits the act of sodomy from time to time;

    3. Someone who embraces the homosexual act without remorse? (same sex unions/marriages being one manifestation of this)

    I am sure we all agree number 3 indicates a lack of repentance, but what about the first two? Can the first two be saved? I think the answer is yes.

    The answer to all 3 is YES qualified. For #3, I think you have to look at each situation. A saved person can start out in that situation just like saved people can shack up with the opposite sex without remorse. However the Holy Spirit will move the person who is genuinely saved to a place of knowing that what they are doing is not pleasing to Christ.

    Some people have strongholds in their lives and can truly believe there is nothing wrong with what they are doing ESPECIALLY when it comes to romantic feelings.

    Third person is one paul speaks of, who revels in their gayness, think it is normal and acceptable behaviour, and at lest has ONLY a profession of Christ!
