You're right. This thread is about the evil Muslims. I apologize.

    LE,

Is this thread about the Muslim Mentality, or is it about human rights in Pakistan?

Sadly, most of the time when "honor killings" occur, the press doesn't even know about it or report it. There are also a number of honor killings on Christians who have left Islam, so it isn't just happening to Muslim women. [IMG]

Going back into the history, especially during the two hundread years of The Crusades, the same thing could be said about Christianity with the rampant massacres of Jews and of women and children of various faiths. </font>[/QUOTE]The Crusades were anything BUT Christian.

The Crusades were expeditions undertaken, in fulfilment of a solemn vow, to deliver the Holy Places from Mohammedan tyranny

The Crusades were started by the Roman Catholic Church. Read the above article in the Catholic Encyclopedia.

Nowhere in the Bible are we told to "force" people to convert as Islam teaches. I repeat, Islam is not a peaceful religion.

    LadyEagle--

Thank you for that link. I checked it out and I'm going to check out the other link you posted. I am a born again Jewish believer--I used to live in a neighborhood in Denver where there were alot of Muslims. It's incredible how the Muslim men treat their wives--like chattel. America needs to wake up to the TRUE teachings of Islam. Those people (Muslims) are in bondage and need the Lord.

The Bible teaches us, 'Husbands, love your wifes as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it.

A muslim, or anyone from any other faith, who would hit, beat, or murder their wife does not love them.

Love is not demanding, nor is it violent. If one truly loved that spouse one would not use that spouse as a punching bag.

This thread is about Islamic “honor killings”. These atrocities are dreadfully shocking and evil! We need to acknowledge and confront such crimes. Ignorance is one thing but silence or diversion from the subject is offensive. These heinous crimes are predominantly committed by a particular group of people for a specific reason. It appears the facts make people uncomfortable. In all truth the atrocities themselves should out weigh any other uneasiness.
