    Islamic Sharia law

    So, they can't relate to British laws, so they will change them?

    If you move to another country you should follow their laws.

    Why should they change thier laws to suit another culture?

    Can't relate to the law, lol.
    When you leave your own country and prefer to live in another country, you leave behind you your culture and ways to live in a new place, with new culture. yet people seem to think they should be able to take their culture with them, and the new country should change and adapt to them.

    What is with the AB of Canterbury?

    Yeah. Just let them have their sharia law. It will be ok until someone stones their wife to death for painting her fingernails and then you'll see the LIBS in Once-Great Britain come undone.

    It is obvious that if one wants to live under sharia law, then they should stay in the country that has it.

    Question: why are all the Middle Easterners coming to the West?

    Now to the OP . . .

    I see this as a religious freedom issue. No, I don't think all religions are equal to and should enjoy the same protections as Protestant Christianity, but I think Islam can be tolerated this far at least.

    They hate Western sponsored Zionism. If it weren't for our support of the counterfeit state of Israel, we would have very little trouble with Islam.

    I'll be interested in seeing what happens with this, as I've heard that England is just a step or two ahead of the US. Scary. Very scary!

    ++Rowan is in deed do-do over here for his unwise remarks, not least among his fellow-Anglican Bishops. Expect the Synod to give him a rough time this week. The old buffer should either resign or retract.
