Where in the story does it mention selling nuclear arms to Saudi Arabia?

I am opposed to selling advanced weapons to Israel, Saudi Arabia, and any other nation at the moment. It is a very short-sighted policy. Example: see Iraq in the 1980's.

Oh, my mistake. Nukes weren't mentioned, and I thought they were. But I still oppose any weaponry to the Saudi's, seeing how the Royal family's power is tenuous, and any takeover would be by the bad guys.

And I fully support the increased expenditures to Israel.

Looks like there will be more Arab countries involved than just Saudi Arabia:

"Discussions are also beginning with Egyptian government officials on a 10-year, $13 billion military assistance agreement, Rice said."

"Besides Saudi Arabia, other countries in discussion with the United States about arms sales include the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, the official said."

What does Saudi Arabia need with all this high-priced sophisticated gadgetry when they can go to Staples and buy a 12 pack of utility knives for $11.99? They could arm every one of their citizens with box cutters for $1 a piece! They have 27,601,038 citizens so that would be $27,601,038 and would save them over $4 billion! With 27 million armed Saudi citizens they could change every nation in the world in the amount of time it takes them to board an airplane!

    This one is funny too...

...Saudi Arabia is an "Arab moderate state"? By what standard?

The Bush Standard. Certainly, not by the standards of experts who study terrorism or remember that most of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia.
