Sure... That's why they are slowing things down...

Fair vetting... She's been vetted twice before and has been on the bench since her last vetting. So either the GOP didn't vet her well when they were in charge or there is no truth to this statement. It's like someone suddenly getting religion. Either way they're hypocrites but who cares, the Dem's are hypocrites also...

I will say this, to build a case for a person being racist because of one comment in one speech without considering the hundreds of cases she has decided is not fair vetting to begin with.

We all know her entire nomination is about the New Haven firefighters case. The GOP wants to drag out her confirmation hoping the SCOTUS will overturn her ruling which gives teeth to their racist accusations. The Dem's want to speed up the process so the SCOTUS decision won't have any impact.

Who looses... We the people...

So the people lose if she isn't confirmed?

So in your opinion she is the only qualified person in a population of in excess of three hundred million?

What may I ask are your particular qualifications for deciding that she is qualified to sit on the court?

Do you remember an appeals court judge named Bork, who was confirmed unamously, who suddenly became unfit for the supreme court very similarly to what you describe?
