The spiritual battle goes on daily. It is not limited to a day that has become a children's holiday in which they collect candy and dress up in silly/scary/contemporary costumes. Unless those children are then sacrificing to Satan or dancing around a bonfire chanting unintelligible utterances from the Satanic bible (they aren't, by the way), I'm not going to worry about giving the kids -- some of whom are my grandkids, who have in the past, been my kids -- a couple hours of fun. Condemning their participation is legalistic garbage.

No, Satan wants me to be in bondage to such legalistic garbage. Every day should be used to advance the Gospel.

On this issue I agree. There are better things to do for the Kingdom of God than worry about Halloween, like spread the Gospel.
