I was listening to Christian radio the other day, and there was a promo with a lady saying that: this is the only station I listen to -it has everything I need.

IMHO, I disagree with her. I do enjoy Christian radio, but, I would say that if she does not listen to any other station, she is very closed minded!
We do need to listen to a variety of stations for a full understanding of what is going on in the world.

So do you disagree with my disagreeing?

Some people get information in many ways and so listening to just one radio station is fine, IMO.

If that is your only source of news and information, I'd say you are really doing yourself and your society a disservice!

I listen to our local CBS news station but when they have the Yankee game on, I'll switch to WINS (if I want to know the news) or else K-LOVE - which we just got about 18 months ago. We don't have many other Christian radio stations around here and I can only take so much of the "positive, encouraging K-LOVE" so I'll switch to an oldies station or jazz if I want to listen to music.

Or .... gasp..... I'll listen to nothing! LOL

Oh at home it's easy but in the car, not so much. That's when I tend to listen to the radio. I only listen at home when I first wake up (to catch the day's news) and then if there is something really important going on that I can't watch the TV for.
