    And this proves what exactly?

It only proves that you and your church have a different opinion that others on this issue.

BTW, I tend to agree with MP completely!

Not sure what you mean by that statement, but are you going to answer my question?
    ie when does a baby become a person ? (8days, 8 weeks, 8 months?)

I did answer, you just didn't understand it.

For the record, a baby is always a person. A zygote, blastocyst, etc. are not. If we could all agree on when the state of being a person begins, abortion would not be the hot topic it is. I don't know the answer, and I lean toward conservatism on it, but I do know what is NOT a person. A blastocyst has no brain, no nerves, none of the body parts of systems that constitute a human being. They have DNA and the potential to become one. If I put a pan of batter in the oven, when is it a cake? Not at first, but at some point, it becomes one. Until then, it is just a pan of batter with potential.

The scriptures are silent on abortion. In fact, God readily kills post birth babies in Egypt. And what of Psalms 137:9 - Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones Against the rock.

That bromide has been debunked often.

    Paul's Record:

12/06/2006 Abortion Pain Bill - Did Not Vote
09/26/2006 Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act - No
04/27/2005 Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act - No
04/26/2001 Motherhood Protection Act - No
04/26/2001 Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2001 - No
09/30/1999 Substitute Amendment to Unborn Victims of Violence Act - No
09/30/1999 Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 1999 - No
07/15/1999 Religious Liberty Protection Act of 1999 - No
06/30/1999 Child Custody Protection Act - No

Paul had a 56% rating in the 109th congress, one of the lowest pro-life ratings for any GOP congressman. Over the last ten years, he averaged about a 70-75% rating. He has received plaudits from Planned Parenthood and NARAL. While Paul has some strengths, abortion isn't one.

Thompson's abortion ratings were consistently upper 70s at least, and in the 80s. His were some of the highest of any GOP candidate (which given the pseudocons he was running against, isn't hard) http://www.votesmart.org/issue_rating_category.php?can_id=22003

The sad reality is that pro-lifers are in a real quandry as there is no real champion of the pro-life cause left in the race with a credible, consistent record.

You do know that a vote against a bill could be for many reasons, including pork and other non-related amendments tacked on. This is a political game.

What else do we know about this woman? Did she finish high school? Ever hold down a real job? Is she playing with a full deck?

I do know that. However, we've posted these bills ad nauseam in the past. The language was pretty straight-forward.

The Bible also tells us that God knew us in our mothers womb,so we must be human beings in our conception.Which means we are people.......
