Kronos, the time keeper where I'm employed, works well with Windows. Windows employees were advised to download JRE v1.4.2_06 and things fell right into place for them.

As for Mac users, we are limited to what we can do with the program because of java issues. We can timestamp (clock in and clock out) but cannot manipulate our timecard for changes or approvals.

Is there a java Mac equivalent to JRE v1.4.2_06 that would make the program work effectively? Thanks ...

this link is to apple's java page for OSX
    http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/java/

supposedly its 1.4.2, they don't list the revision

Looks like if you aren't running X, you may be out of luck. They have some proprietary java-like implementation for their previous operating systems.

Thanks so much for the info, superdave.

I was hoping the fix was more browser related, but I'm definitely not tech saavy.

    Thanks again ...
