    Judges chapter 11 is one of those passages that skeptics like to point to in order to prove that God approved of human sacrifice. It is also to me one strange portion of Scripture and I thought that it would be an interesting study and discussion. So I have three questions and would be interested in some of your input.

    Did the "spirit of the Lord" inspire Jephthah's vow?

    Did Jephthah make the vow knowing a human might be involved?

    Did Jephthah actually sacrifice his daughter?
