    The Christians in this nation need to sit up and take notice of the recent remarks from Louis Farrakhan. He has singlehandedly anointed Barack Obama the MESSIAH.

    Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but you who support BHO should be angry with this proclamation, because, there is only one Messiah, and that is Jesus Christ.:jesus:

    There are many reasons to not vote for Obama. Reasons like abortion, ties to anti-Americans [Ayers, Rev. Wright, etc.], and his financial and moral support of Acorn. But, the most shameful thing so far is his silence on this notion that "he is the one," and now, "the Messiah." BHO has recently called for McCain to address the issues of violence coming from the McCain rally's, and McCain has capitulated. But, BHO remains silent about his being placed on the same spiritual level as the true Messiah.

    Could is ego be so over-inflated that he is actually believing the proclamations of Farrakhan referencing him to the one and true Messiah?
    Obama should have DENOUNCED these proclamations immediately, because his silence only lends itself to accepting the fact that he truly has a "Messiah complex" and that kind of complex is what brought Hitler to power in the 1930's Germany.

    Christians need to be appalled, like myself, for his silence. If Obama were a true believer in Jesus [as he proclaims], he would have immediately corrected Farrakhan, i.e., just the other day, McCain immediately, and publically corrected a lady at his rally when she held a microphone and proclaimed that she believed Obama was an Arab.

    The Obama campaign expects McCain to correct serious errors coming from his supporters, and those of you who are SAVED, and BELIEVE that Jesus is your SAVIOR, should expect nothing less than the denouncing of Farrakhan's statement and proclamation that Obama is the Messiah.

    Obama supporters need to look more closely at their candidate, because should he win, it will take nothing less than an impeachment to get him out of office.

    Let me get this straight. You're saying that you accept everything Louis Farrakhan says? I don't. Then why should you be concerned that he made this outrageous claim about Obama?

    I'll answer that and RD can post his own answer.

    I am concerned because Obama has not come out and squashed it or discredited it. His silence means acceptance. Perhaps he views himself as the messiah. He certainly is arrogant enough, IMO.

    Besides, I think RD already answered that in the OP. A true Christian would denounce such nonsense speedily as it is blasphemy.

    Why should he bother to come out and squash it. If you listen to the video you will see he doesn't call Obama the Messiah. He called him the sign of the Messiah. This is Farrakhan speaking so who listens to him anyway. I don't think he has anything to address. We did this thread already and this is a non-issue except to those who are looking for an issue.

    That's totally ridiculous. By replying to such statements he would only accept their credibility. Many people called George Bush the Antichrist. I haven't heard that he ever came out and renounced it. Does that mean he is the Antichrist? Well, in his case.....

    Interesting you should bring this up. Google anti-Christ Bush brings up 1,500,000 and Google anti-Christ Obama brings up 1,280,000 and he isn't even sworn in yet. :laugh:

    If Obama disagreed with Farrakhan he would say so. So far he hasn't disagreed.

    What is there to disagree with? Farrakhan didn't call him the Messiah if you listen to the clip.

    Sounds like he's calling obama the messiah to me. He just said obama had captured the youth and then said when the messiah speaks the youth will hear, and the messiah is speaking. I don't think this muslim would be talking about THE Messiah, Jesus Christ. If he were talking about Jesus like this he wouldn't be a muslim would he since muslims don't think Jesus is the messiah. But apparently he has given this title to obama.
    Like I said, some christians don't care obama is now titled the messiah.

    Any sane politician would run away from Calypso Louie. He's definitely crazier than the pentecostal preacher everyone told me was nuts, you know, the Palin video.
