    DeafTractMan,

    Good morning!

There is no proof find anywhere in the New Testament saying there will be another third temple building will be rebuilt again in the last days.

Please show us where a verse in New Testament saying that a temple building shall be built again in the last days. Thanks.

    In Christ
    Rev. 22:20 -Amen!

It would actually be the Fourth Temple.

Anyway, Thessalonians is quite clear that the man of sin will enter the Temple of GOd and declare himself to be God.

Obviously it isn't really God's temple, as only those who reject Christ will participate in it. However, it will be thought of as the Temple of God by all who reject the Son.

When I was in Israel we were staying in the Diplomat Hotel and I got really sick and the hotel sent us to a doctor by a Taxi.

On the way in, we walked into the wrong office. It was a small office of arctitects working on drawings. There were big renderings hanging on the wall of what looked like a temple.

I asked them what they were working on and they said they were contracted to do the plans for the new temple so they would be ready when the government got ready to have it rebuilt.

I just thought this was one interesting coincidence. That was when I was in college close to 25 year ago.

I can say one thing, if they truly use the drawings I saw, it is going to be one BEAUTIFUL temple.

There's one large obstacle to building a new Temple... the Dome of the Rock, the 2nd-most sacred place on earth to the Moslems sits very close to the Temple site.

The Jews have all the plans & all the funding in place. All they're waiting for is the right time. I believe GOD has determined that time, & the temple will be built when HIS time arrives.

The current peace with the Palestinians won't last. Please read the book of Zechariah carefully, bearing in mind that the Philistines are today's Palestinians. The Jews also have in place the military plans to quickly crush the Palestinians, and you may ask any American Jew whether or not he/she believes the Pals are occupying JEWISH land, given to them by GOD. Rabin was assassinated for his cooperation with the Pals, as many Jews are opposed to any cooperation whatsoever with them long as they live in what they consider to be JEWISH land.

Perhaps another people will destroy the Dome...or, the Moslems will tolerate a new Temple next to it. We shall see...

How does it get to be a 4th? It seems to me that Herod only enlarged the 2nd. There has to be a 3rd so that the Antichrist has a place to defile.

This may be slightly off topic but has anyone noticed that since Arafat's death there has been a decline of violence in Jerusalem and Israel? It's still there but it is greatly declined compared to what it was.

Perhaps he was the main cause of terror in Israel and now that he is gone the palestinians and Jews will find out that they are not so hard to live next to after all, and hence prepare a temple together???

It would not be the first generation that Jews and Muslims "tolerated" each other to the point of peace and compromise before.

Yes, Arafat was always a problem. The only reason Israel didn't kill him (it is said) is that he was the lesser of the other evils who would have been put in power when he was younger.

I also think the peace has something to do with the fact the new leader and the President of Israel are actually carrying on a dialogue rather than shooting at each other.

Robycop, do you read Biblical Archeology or anything like that? It has been reported that the actual position of the temple was measured off somewhat and it is truly centered on a clear area that has a shrine called Dome of the Tablets (or something like that). Apparently, according to the authors the Dome of the Rock is no longer a problem and the Temple can be built without moving it.

Anybody else hear of this information?

I agree with you on the Palestinian issue. The odd thing is there are a lot of young liberal citizens in Israel who do not remember the holocaust. They are pushing for a more tolerant government.

Many do not realize that Israel simply had to take the west bank and the Golan Heights to keep Arabs from bombing their cars on the main highway from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv.

The Syrians on the Golan Height would lob mortar shells into the city opposite of the Lake of Galilee and the children had to be raised and go to school in bomb shelters. With the Heights securely in Israeli hands, this has ceased.

Interesting enough, when you go to Israel, even Israeli maps show the old boarders and call the territory "occupied territory". Or at least it was that way not long after the Yom Kippur war.

    Shalom, Goyim....
Many interesting statements made here. The temple is indeed a much sought for event among Jewish people. "When we build it, He (Mosiach)will come" is the basic understanding of many observant Jews, especially the "Temple Mount Faithful" group. That is the sadness of not understanding what "temple" Jesus was speaking about. And yes, when this coming temple appears, who will occupy it??? Pray that those who see this event listen to the message of the True Gospel of the Kingdom.

Reb Steve, our prayers are with you. Thank you for sharing this. Although I am gentile, the country of Israel has always been a favorite study of mine and the most enjoyable trip that I have ever made.

Let me share with you a funny story:

When we were at the ruins of Masada a Baptist preacher wanted to read about the Battle of Armagedon. I was just a kid in college so I was wandering around. All of the rest of the group were listening intently to the pastor.

I noticed a speck in the distance getting large quite fast. It was an Israeli KFIR C-2 fighter. It could not have been timed better. When the pastor read about the Lord defeating the antichrist the fighter came directly over at only about 300 feet above the hilltop, and dead centered where we were, just ripping along. The sound was INCREDIBLE.

Since I watched it come in, I knew what was going to happen and it was so funny, everybody thought the Battle had begun and it is a wonder somebody didn't have a heart attack when they jumped at the sound.

That was just one of the highlights of the trip. [IMG]

    Shalom

I have read this many times. For the most part it is just a media hype that these so called prophecy expertes such as Perry Stone throw around. I have done a great deal of research on this and yes there actually is a small sect of five rabbi's who beleive this is true but the majority of Jews do not care whether or not the actual place of the temple was three feet off or thirty feet off, they refuse to share God's holy and perfect mountian with immoral false gods.

God's mountain cannot have a place of worship AND a place of demonic babylon sharing.

The Muslims today base their justification of the Dome of the Rock being where it is on the fact that there is no undisputable proof that the temple actually existed in this place. They argue that God does not deal in real estate and did not give land to the sons of Isaac and did not tell them to build a temple on Moriah. I believe this is the real reason why Muslims will not let Jews excavate certian areas of the mount, they fear that proof will be found.

I beleive that one day something will be found that will force Muslims to either admit that Mohammed never took his "heavnly flight" from this mount and that the Dome of the Rock is a lie OR an undeniable proof of the Temple will be found forcing muslims to abandon their dome. Perhaps the arc of the covenant will be found under the dome.

    Dear Thunder...
True there are many stories as to the actual location of the coming temple, as well as many scientific studies that postulate an actual site. This the Musilms know, and have no fear about escavations, the waqf have been doing these for 20-25 years, destroying thousands of years of Jewish history. As I'm sure you know, the latest of these illegal digs is perportedly to build an "underground mosque" near the mosque of omar to the south and has all but caused the collapse of the SE corner as well as weakening other places.
Now for some heresy, yes??? I believe the battle described in Eze 38 is the event that enables the man of sin to make this peace accord by allowing the Jews to build again on the mount. I was almost arrested my previous time to Temple Mnt, and believe it would take a war like this to so bloody islam's nose to agree to this as well as a political genius to broker the deal. So, I will take a breath and listen....
    Shalom, shalom...

    Phillip,
Hope you and yours are well and serving the Lord... There's not much place to Jump on Masada, Yes? Those boys usually fly out of the base in the Jezreel with underground hangers... All you see is a fighter pop out of the ground and it's gone. Last I was on Carmel and got some pictures of it making straffing passes out in the Med Sea. Was reading the revelation of Jesus when the f-16 let go with his 20mm cannon.
Times are not good, but all according to God's plan. Pray the ones returning to the Land would be reached with the Gospel. Our family is planning to move to Haifa when our support is reached. Shalom, shalom

I dont think that the temple will ever be rebuilt on the site next to the mosque on the rock. Maybe it will be rebuilt in a second location. Yet the previous occasions when it was built, God was involved and made the way for it to happen. In this instance, the temple is representative of a religion that rejects Christ. Hence there is not going to be any divine intervention this time around.

    1 Cor 3:16-17 (KJV1611):

Knowe yee not that yee are the Temple of Go,
and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the Temple of God, him shall
God destroy: for the Temple of God is holy,
    which Temple ye are
