You might as well stop because you cannot offer proof of anything.

    But who needs proof?

KJV Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The trouble is the constant bickering over the versions here.
Satan has placed a snare for folks to go round and round about versions and not take the time to learn content and it disgusts me.

KJV Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Well then why please yourself by bickering about versions day after day?

You have never proved anything to anyone by it.
    Why bother?

I try my best to bring my point of view to my brethren. I support the Traditional Texts when it's appropriate.

There was a 300 year period of time when almost the entire professing church was given over to arianism.

I believe the ill wind of bad translations (and there are plenty of them) will blow on by, maybe not in my earthly life time.

But let us say that you are correct for the sake of the discussion.

Wouldn't the brethren need the healer's touch and not the boxer's punch?

bickering doesn't please me, it's a vexation to me.

i am way more pious than thou art!

BTW, i also take great pride in
the full depths of my humility.

Ed you do not intimidate me or anyone I know.
You have proved yourself unable to discuss content without resorting to name calling or version bickering.
I don't have time for child play. I am seeking serious students of the bible not critics.

Are there two PSR2's? Or did someone forget to take their medication? One's words apparently have nothing to do with the reality of what one has posted in the last few days on several topics.

Oh boy....just made my way through most of what was posted here today on this forum. So much to be amused at, but on this particularly hilarious day, I nominate this for the most hilarious quote of all.

Wrong Tony. You apparently are unable to discern truth from fiction. Rather than read and believe words you are looking for dynamic equiv.

See the danger in messing with God's word.

Perhaps you would take a shot at answering a few scripture questions in a one on one forum for all to view my new friend. Russel
Just slip over to the bickering thread and I have a verse waiting for you that none of you pals can answer.

What I am unable to discern is what you are talking about. Not one of my post have anything to do with dynamic anything. You truly are in a world of your own making. I hope the air is clear up there, because your foggy thinking could use some fresh air. It has been shown that no one can have a sensible discourse with you so you can be assured I'll not try either.

Easy out for a guy with no answers. Perhaps you will visit the bickering thread and try your hand at some content for a change. I doubt it.

</font>[/QUOTE]Bro Tony, if you don't mind, which version of the Bible do you use? As stated, I use the KJV out of preference, but am pretty comfortable with most versions of the Bible. I find that many KJVO's try to use John 10, 16, 17 as a basis for the KJV being the only Word of God in the English. They will also try to use Ps 12:6-7. This also works to their detriment.
