    John the Baptist was the first Baptist but I still wouldn't say he started the Baptist Church...That was Jesus.

    Not if he ate only locusts and honey. If he were really a Baptist, there would have been fried food involved. :laugh:

    What about fried locusts?

    BTW, I'm delighted to see others hold that Jesus founded his church. I've often wondered how Jesus could build his church "upon this rock" if there was no church around to build until Pentecost.
