This might be the post that got Pinoybaptist worked up about "lawkeeping" bible-quoting rebellion-rejecting stinker-bob... But all I did was provide some quotes below. If you want to discuss my views on each one, I am glad to do it.

And then of course there is the "IF you persevere firm UNTIL the end" texts.

The parts that HAVE a Calvinist member's name by it and the date and thread address are the only parts posted by an actual Calvinist.

Where do you get the idea that my part of that post actually belongs to a Calvinist?

</font>[/QUOTE]Because that's the way it comes to me. How about a little clarity and post the name of the Arminian who created that lovingly Christian sarcastic scenario ?

And if as you say, that wasn't a Calvinist, then with whom are you agreed as you asked in another post ?

Please note the actual details in the post - quote them and show where you are confused.

I have posted it several times and so far you are the first person to be confused about the point that it makes or the fact that I am posting it.

Certainly Calvinists object to my exposing this flaw in Calvinism by simply showing how the Calvinist principles play out AND showing Calvinist posts (with names and dates as given in the post) addressing the principles mentioned.

    Bob

Interesting. Does your respect of God depend on him doing what you think is righteous and just? It almost sounds as if you are saying that if God doesn't act as you would like for him to act, then he is not worthy of your respect or worship. Answer this for me. What would you do if God came to you one day and told you to take your son and sacrifice him on an alter on top of a mountain? Would you be willing to do it? Or would you be questioning God's justice and mercy and wondering if you could respect him? I can still hear the words of God ringing to Job after listening to him question his justice when he basically said who do you think you are to question my judgment and my righteousness. Job responded to that word from God by repenting of his arrogance.

This is the post I was referring to, BobRyan.

Is this a quote you made up, or did you cut and paste this from a Calvinist's post.

Either way, I resent your presenting the God whom we honor and respect in that way, and this is a gross misinterpretation of the Doctrines of Grace.

Personally, I welcome your arguments, if you will keep within the bounds of courteous, informative, and Christian argumentation and debate, but, if you resort to innuendoes against our God, that will be an entirely different matter.

And I am not picking on just you.

I have been caustic to others here before, only after they refer to our God as autocratic, arbitrary, capricious, etc.
