In the middle of an article on CCN, I ran across this interesting statement in regards to the survivors of Katrina who were evacuated to other areas:

But their religious faith has been strengthened, eight in 10 said.

I hope it is a lasting strength.

Remember following 9/11? The churches were filled. . . .for about three weeks. Then everything went back to the same was it was before.

Guess who the real front line responders were?

Christians, that's who. They came from all directions with transportation, food, water, prayer, good counsel, and enthusiasm. And they came first, because every life is precious to Christians.
