    Why is that?

I once had his stidy bible, seemed like a good edition, and have read some of His books...

Not my cup of tea due mainly to his views on Lordship salvation and dual natures of man, he holds that saints JUST have a new nature...

This is not about if you like this man or not. This is about the article. if you don't want to read it and comment on the article then don't post and highjack the thread. Start your own thread on the person and your views about him.

So what are the questions? Do you like the articles? Do you like the trend described in the articles?

Is JM right when he calls on young DoGs to exercise maturity, and grace to the less enlightened non-Cals? Is JM right to urge young DoGs to make their evangelism methods consistent with their soteriology? Can DoGs and pragmatism go together?

MacArthur's advice to YRRs (Young, Restless and Reformed) is to settle down, grow up and keep reforming. It's certainly good advice.

Non-DoGs can profit from similar advice. Well, except for the keep reforming. Good advice, but not practical for Non-DoGs.

I think he's spot-on. And I would recommend clicking on the embedded link to Tim Challie's article too.

Okay, this thread is not about John MacArthur, but I can't help putting in my kudos to him even though I may disagree with him about a few things (his dispensationalism for example). He is a great man of God, and I pray the Lord will keep him true to the Gospel.
