Hard for me to think of a more trivial cause for Christians to get revved up about. Trying...

Or eyeshadow. In the movies Joseph and young Moses are always wearing eyeshadow. That belongs to us too.

Christians should reclaim the rainbow. Christians should redeem society, not surrender society.

I agree to an extent. We should not surrender to society or culture, but at the same time we need to be careful about the battles we choose to join.

I remember the issue of keeping "in God we trust" on our money. Churches claimed victory because the secular courts judged it appropriate to allow the phrase. But it was not a victory. The decision was that such things as "in God we trust" and opening prayers are meaningless tradition (ceremonial deism) and do not constitute anything religious.

Yes, Christians need to be wise in what battles they choose. Often, Christians aren't so wise. Sometimes even on the wrong side of issues.

As for "in God we trust", that court victory was not a big investment nor does the Judge's opinion that it's essentially meaningless matter much.

I agree. But in a way, I almost wish that we would take "in God we Trust" off our currency. As a national "slogan" it is not accurate. Come to think of it, instead of raising taxes they should put pictures of ..... never mind....the election is over and we won .:Laugh ....kinda......:Cautious

I've never seen a rectangular rainbow before.
