Donated my $100 at 6am today!

The best hundred bucks I ever spent.

Outside of church, I can't recall the last time I actually felt good about spending that much money.

I am so thankful there are so many people out there willing to donate to such a worthy cause as preserving freedom in America.

May God bless Ron Paul and the United States of America!

What's great about this, Brother James, is that these are real donations, not merely pledges.

So much for the idea that Ron Paul's support consists of nothing more than a dozen nerds spamming Internet polls.

That's right. I believe the pledges for today topped out around 18,000 people. That would have been $1.8 million total.

I'd say people are either spending a good bit more than they were asked to, or there are many more people donating.

That, or you and me, as the only real Ron Paul supporters in the world, have just pulled off a very good hoax.

May God richly bless you, Bro. Curtis. :)

And may God richly bless all Ron Paul supporters(whether they were able to contribute financially today or not) on this historic day.

Well, me too. I hope he gets excellent foreign advisors, he'll need them. But as far as everything else, I'm on board.

    Go Ron Paul !!!

I still say that being a Ron Paul supporter puts me in some undesirable company. (I know they feel the same about me)

I hope if he comes to Montana, and I go see him, that people leave their truther posters and their dope at home. And leave their clothes on.

Seriously, I see potential for bad things to happen, if we don't behave ourselves. We can't be violating Condoleeza Rice's personal space, we can't be shouting down speakers, no matter what they are saying. And a bath & a shave once in a while doesn't hurt. (Most Americans, I'm convinced, hate the smell of patchouli)

But I am serious about being on board.

Amen to that! Paul needs to stay exclusively focused on why he's running and avoid the conspiratorial members of his ransk. That would kill his candidacy faster than anything else.

While we're amassing money for men and women to change laws, remember that we have missionaries on the field - who are barely surviving - who are changing lives.

Cato Scholar Comments on Ron Paul Fundraising

    Tuesday, November 6, 2007

Michael D. Tanner, director of health and welfare studies:
Ron Paul's extraordinary fundraising success is a clear sign that there is a yearning by the Republican grassroots for the party to return to its historic small-government roots. Paul's message of limited government, free markets and peace obviously has touched a chord. Perhaps the other candidates and the big-government conservatives in Washington should take notice.

    A very good point, Tom.

And if we don't get our fiscal house in order in these United States in the near future then American Christians are going to have a whole lot less money to send to support missionaries.

I mildy agree. Americans need to get their own house in order and stop asking the govt to do for them what they can do for themselves.

    An Email From Ron Paul

    November 6, 2007

Amazing! I have to admit being floored by the $4.2 million dollars you raised yesterday for this campaign. And unlike the fatcat operations of the opposition, the average contribution from our 36,672 donors was $103.

I say "you raised," because this historic event was created, organized, and run by volunteers. This is the spirit that has protected American freedom in our past; this is the spirit that is doing so again.

Some of the mainstream media have sat up and taken notice. Others have pooh-poohed our record online fundraising. But the day is coming--far faster than they know--when they will not be able to ignore our freedom revolution.

We are working hard, with you, to spread our message far and wide-in New Hampshire, in South Carolina, in Iowa, and in every other state with a primary. And people are listening.

As you and I know, there is hope for America--in liberty and peace, and the prosperity they bring. There is hope for America--in a sound dollar, the rule of law, and the Constitution. There is hope for America--in a people's revolution that brings us all together, of whatever race and age and background.

What momentum we have! Please help me keep it up. As you and I know, and our opponents are only suspecting, we have success on our minds, and in our hearts.

Freedom! Surely it is worth all our hard work. Please help me continue to do that work.

Without your help, this campaign would be dead in the water. Help us keep steaming towards victory.

    Sincerely,

    Ron

You may be, but I'm not sure about KenH.

He has said more than once that Paul can't win. Does one pray for something and then say it can't or won't happen?

What I pray for in elections is that the results will be how God intends for them to turn out.

Based on observing and participating in politics since 1964 I just don't see Ron Paul winning the GOP nomination. But I would be quite happy to be proven wrong. :)

Yer also on record for saying you look forward to the GOP losing in '08. Looks like yer gonna be happy, no matter what.

That's the Biblical command, so
