    Joe Kennedy, a Nazi supporter, had 4 sons, 3 of whom croaked early, and the last one won't go away, and is here to attack opponents of his view as wanting a "gestapo." That really takes the cornbeef & cabbage!

    Not really. The president is the commander-in-chief of the personnel in the military, not of anyone else. He is the president to the rest of us. He can't order the rest of us into a battle zone.
