No, problem, Lady Akbarpour. Halliburton is already there.

See, people, what I keep telling you - none of these guys are for America's best interests - only their own. They're all corrupt!

Vote for Michael Peroutka - he has no ties to enemies of the US. [IMG]

To be fair, both candidates can argue that none of this is illegal.

While taking money from Iranian sources is illegal, taking money from American citizens of Iranian descent is not.

While collaborating with terrorist regimes is illegal for American companies, if they set up a dummy corporation in the Cayman Islands, and do it through that company, it's perfectly legal.

Whether one or both of these needs to be changed, or whether it shows any moral flabbiness on the part of either party, I guess everyone can decide for themselves.

Well, somehow, I just can't imaging Thomas Jefferson taking donations from the Barbary pirates so that America would do business with them.

This is a perfect example of how corrupt both parties are. We all know it's pat my back and I'll pat your back - but really, when we elect someone to public office and they are basically living off the public dole, why shouldn't they be required to not have conflicts of interest and why shouldn't they be required to implement policies which benefit the American people?

So, what's the point in voting - if everyone is doing the same thing and everyone is on the "take"??
