Why do you worry over which KJV?

Because things which are different are not the same.

Ed, your old, tired argument that the changes in the KJV are even closely related to the changes when the KJV is compared with the MVs borders on dishonesty.

    No. The KJVOs have painted
themselves into a corner. The KJV1769 cannot
be further refined, improved, enhansed or
    othererwise changed without violating
    Revelation 22:18-19.

    A change implies an error.

The 1611 had errors and the KJV translators made their first round of corrections (yes, they were the first KJV "Bible Correctors") in 1613.

Most were corrections of typos that somehow got passed God (or so we are to believe as perhaps "advanced revelations"), a few were not typos and one they even flip-flopped concerning.

This is the point: God is incapapble of even the smallest error of any type. So one change of any type to the KJV is just as bad as 1000 in an MV for this very reason.

God cannot be wrong not even once not even to the smallest magnitude.

Hence the AV1611 is not the "pure" and "very" words of God.

For two or three reasons: It is an English translation made by men who were not apostles or prophets and it therefore needed correcting (or in the words of another "it is EVIDENT").

Yes. What is the difference(s) between the two versions? They appear to be coming from the same publishing house.

The Holy Bible: 21st Century King James Version was published in 1994. This is a limited revision of the KJV with only the most archaic words replaced. In 1998 a revision containing the Apocrypha was published as the Third Millennium Bible.

You can't speak to a closed mind or get an answer that would be seriously considered. Now we know how those who took to the KJV's fellas felt when the Geneva Bible only'ers were thumping their breasts.

I received this comment on the KJ21 from a recent acquaintance whom I consider to be very knowledgeable on the text issue:
