Most of us figured this was coming, but do you think he was really harmed, especially 15 million dollars worth in a personal suit against the school for the debacle caused over his invention. Should the school pay up, or should they fight it all the way?

Prediction: The school will settle for a sum less than fifteen million. Of course, why not, it's only taxpayer money!

The school district and the city should take it to court. A jury might not award the lying little punk anything at all.

By Texas law, a school district is extremely limited in what they can be sued for and how much.

    $100,000 comes to mind.

I think everyone knew there would be a lawsuit, but this 15 million from what I read is a extortion plot. They will sue if they don't get the money just handed over to them.

Whatever it is, the kid and his family should stay where they are, and live off of what they already milked out of this planned incident.

If the first teacher he showed it to had done their job, and reported it, the whole scam would have been ended right there.

They are trying to pass this child off as a genius but he is just average. His parents should have apologized to everyone and then made time stand still for Clockmed--with the emphasis on stand and not sit. Readin' ritin' 'rithemic taught to the tune of a hickory stick.

In a sane world, Ahkmed the Clockmed would be bent over a knee and given a good paddling, rather than getting to go to the White House before attempting to shake down the school district.

This is looking more like it was a well thought out plot all the time.
