Time Mag Editor: Koran Is ‘Directly The Word of God,’ Bible Just a Book ‘Written By Man’

Todd was discussing the riots in Afghanistan sparked by Islamist ire over the burning of a Koran by a Florida pastor. During the interview Todd and a guest stated that the Christian Bible was just a book written by men while the Koran was the “direct word of God.” The two implied that this excuses Muslims from murdering people over the book burning.

Funny how the Koran mimics the OT and NT Scriptures if it is an original, direct from the mouth of God book, as purported (the means of inspiration which, BTW, are almost identical to the means that the Book of Mormon came to be via Joseph Smith).

I might be way off base here but if one reads the Qurán with the knowledge that it was verbally given by Mohamed in the seventh century, it quickly becomes apparent that the Old Testament, written by the inspiration of God, is a strong influence on the Qurán. In like manor one can see reflections, some times distorted a bit, of the New Testament that had been Canonized about 300 years earlier.

How many in the media and in the world buys into what was said by these two,"The two implied that this excuses Muslims from murdering people over the book burning."

So many give them a bye for killing people over this burning, but nothing is said about the Bible burnings they have or the believers they kill in their countries.
