I don't think its nitpicking to point out errors in a post.

The steaming pile is the pure dishonesty that abounds on this board. You can go to any story about Obama online and amass a cadre of race comments from his detractors in the stories' comments in a story that has nothing to do with race.

Look at the Christopher Lane story. Look at the story about the WWII vet. There are plenty of folks who are Obama's detractors who want to make race an issue just as much as some on here claims he wants to make it an issue.

Prejudice is a many headed monster that attacks from every direction.

Just from observing a few inter-racial contacts in the last few weeks, if the race baiters - and those who can't differentiate between race-baiting and simple comments - were silenced for a couple of years, race would cease to be a problem.
I would love to see God shut these types up with an acute case of laryngitis (so they could not TALK), palsied hands ( so they could not write or type), for at least two years ---- able to communicate basic needs only!!!
Excluding the pockets of troublemakers that are always around, I'd predict that a minimum of 90% of the population would cease to even mention race except to identify a criminal suspect, or some such specific need for it to be known.
But we know that as long as ole slewfoot is influencing this world there will be the types listed above.
    A guy can dream, can't he???

Quiet the claims by those claiming race baiting too and you'd see that it would STILL be an issue just not in the minds of those who don't want to deal with reality.

Skin color is an issue in this country. It's an issue from Blacks. And it's an issue from Whites. Sadly it will be until Jesus Christ returns to set things straight.

If he shuts both sides up, those crying race and those crying race baiter, the problem with skin color will probably still exist because of the wickedness of man's heart.

I doubt it. The noticeable fact that newscasts will often mention that a suspect is Black but never mention skin color if the suspect is White speaks to something else and not just a need to identify a criminal suspect. Some friends mentioned it to me several years ago so I started paying attention. You'd be amazed how often suspects are identified as Black. And just how rarely skin color is mentioned if a suspect is White.

Absolutely. But don't give all the credit to old slewfoot. I think that's one of the things that will be highlighted when he is locked up for that 1000 years. Man will no longer have the devil to blame and will have to come to terms with their own wickedness causing them to do what they do.

It's distasteful to find myself allied with dawg on this, but it's time to start your list of citations.

Those who bring up the Christopher Lane story and the WW2 vet are not wanting to make race an issue. What we are doing is showing the hypocrisy of the racebaiters for not doing it. It reveals their inconsistency and their agenda. Which is exactly what guys like Rush, Hannity, and Orielly do.

And if you cannot tell the difference then you are part of their agenda. You tell on yourself.

ANd those of you who continue to cry racebaiter are no different from the folks you point out for always crying race.

You think you're revealing their inconsistency and their agenda, and one of the reasons they cry race is because of what they believe to be inconsistency in treatment and an agenda.

    Where's the difference?

    Obama's side cries race.

Sean Hannity, Matt Drudge, Rush Limbaugh and a lot of the conservative outlets cry racebaiter as do the people who read from or listen to their shows/material.

You guys feel justified in crying race baiter because you think it shows their inconsistency and agenda. They feel justified in crying race becaue they think it points out your inconsistency and agenda.[IMG]

 I don't care about their agenda or yours for that matter. My agenda comes from Jesus Christ and it's called the Great Commission. If you're not preaching about Jesus Christ as though he's the most important thing in your life, then you're repaching as though something elseon your agenda is.

And I must say that Obama and politics has consumed the lot of you. It's made some of you into some nasty, vile people, who. if you know Jesus, no one would know because all you ever do is complain about racebaiters and Obama did this or Obama did that. [IMG]

There's lots of folks who work race into every conversation because they are still mad about an election and can make a beeline back to race as the central theme of the country's angst.

Zaac, FYI, I was called a racist by a lot of folks before I put that statement up. And as much as you and C.T.Boy try to misrepresent me, and tie me to the GOP, or any election results, it is still not true. You should try and be more honest.

There is no way to deny this was a complete humiliation for Obama. he was stupid to make a red line comment in the first place.

Curtis, that was in no way an attempt to tie you to the GOP. My apologies if it appeared as such. Just giving examples of how often people raise race when talking about Obama just as much as people claim he does.

Syria is just as capable of exporting terrorism as Husein's Iraq was, perhaps more so. What people who claim "[Insert country] is no direct threat to the U.S." fail to recognize is that, among terrorist exporters, they don't have to send an army or an air force or a navy. They just to send three or four dedicated fanatics.
