If so, she must suffer from Stockholm Syndrome, as Aaron is still drawing breath. Such misogyny and dinosauric thinking is quite amusing.

It would be amusing if it wasn't so stupid.

MP, if you hate it, it must be Christian.

Bryant, if your judgments are based on the Scriptures, as you claim, it should be easy for you to refute my basic premise. Instead, you simply rely on the defacto acceptance of your judgments by those who were trained to think in a worldly, Darwinistic manner.

Prove by the Scriptures that women should exercise authority over men.

What do I hate? Your misogyny? You bet. In fact, I found you a more fitting avatar.

You are the misogynist, MP. You hate the role that God has created for women. You're also a misanthrope, as you hate the role that God created for men as the cover and protection of women. You hate Creation, it's order, and as such, you cannot claim to love the Creator.

Your attempts to inflame me by making disaparaging remarks concerning my wife are in vain. My wife is stronger than you, because she abides in her ordained role and knows that it is only when she is weak (as the weaker vessel) then she is strong. And I love her dearly. You bet I'm her captor. I captivated her with my love, which is how Jesus took hold of the Church.

So if you judge me as a dinosaur, I'm honored, because I know that's your view of the Apsotles, of Christ, His Kingdom and His Law.

The US is a secular state. That was one idea the founding fathers wanted to ensure. They had seen some of the evils that were produced when the government and religion was closely aligned. This is one of the great lessons of history when the government and religion of the area becomes too closely aligned very bad things start to happen. This was one of the reasons the French Revolution came about. The founding fathers were influenced greatly by the writings of the French Enlightenment philosophers. [/SIZE]

Baptists hate most everyone in authority. Case in point, the SBC will not admit being a denomination.

He did not call for Rome to feed the poor, visit the sick, etc, etc, etc.

Then you should have no trouble citing references to the philosophers of the so-called "Enlightenment" in the writings of the founding fathers.

Then the SBC classifies itself as a denomination? I stand corrected. A baptist preacher told me that the SBC was a voluntary association and definitely not a denomination in the conventional use of the word.
