    One can discuss economics without discussing partisan politics. :)

    The budget deficit is what the budget deficit is. I simply provided the numbers. That's all.

    I wonder if this deficit will grow when the final '09 FY deficit is in due to the increased spending? It will be interesting to see the final numbers. A long time between now and then to be sure.

    A national budget is meaningless because we don't keep an honest set of books. For example, an honest set of books would report where the two trillion the Treasury just gave away came from and where it went. Fat chance of that!
