The lawyer hired by the Chicago Little League team that was stripped of its U.S. championship by Little League officials after they alleged the team included players not from their geographical region is denying the team is playing the race card. Yet here is a statement by one of the players' mother:

"It is amazing to me that whenever African Americans exceed their expectations, that there is always going to be fault that is found in whatever it is that we do", said Vanessa Greene, mother of one of the players.

"We aren't raising the race card, at least the family isn't," attorney Victor Henderson said during Thursday's press conference.

Naturally, Jesse Jackson showed up to show his displeasure.
