With so many forms of birth control available, it still amazes me that the number of little lives taken before they can breathe in the air and enter this life as a human are taken through abortion each year is so high!

So, not to make "the Donald" look right or wrong, I don't care about the hypothetical arguments is as to legal or not legal and punishments for those getting abortions if made illegal ... do you as a believer, believe that those who get abortions for the sake of not have that child, as well as those who advocate for and perform abortions, will, in fact, have blood on their hands when they stand before God?

    ANNUAL ABORTION STATISTICS

    • Based on available state-level data, an estimated 977,000 abortions took place in 2014—down from approximately 983,000 abortions in 2013 and 1.02 million abortions in 2012.
    • In 2011, 1.06 million abortions took place in the U.S., down from 1.21 million abortions in 2008, 1.2 million in 2005, 1.29 million in 2002, 1.31 million in 2000 and 1.36 million in 1996. From 1973 through 2011, nearly 53 million legal abortions occurred in the U.S. (AGI).
    • Twenty-one percent of all U.S. pregnancies (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion. (AGI).
    • In 2011, the highest number of reported abortions occurred in California (181,730), New York (138,370) and Florida (84,990); the fewest occurred in Wyoming (120), South Dakota(600) and North Dakota (1,250) (AGI).
    • Mississippi had the lowest abortion rate in 2011 (Wyoming had too few abortions for reliable tabulation), and New York had the highest (AGI). There were approximately 17.5 births for every abortion in Mississippi and approximately 2.3 births for every abortion in New York.
    • The annual number of legal induced abortions in the United States doubled between 1973 and 1979, and peaked in 1990. There was a slow but steady decline through the 1990's. Overall, the number of annual abortions decreased by 6% between 2000 and 2009, with temporary spikes in 2002 and 2006 (CDC).
    • From 2011 to 2012, the total number and ratio of reported abortions decreased by 4% (CDC).
    • In 2011, 17% of legal induced abortions occurred in California (AGI).
    • The US abortion rate is similar to those of Australia, New Zealand, and Sweden but higher than those of other Western European countries (NAF).
    • In 2005, the abortion rate in the United States was higher than recent rates reported forCanada and Western European countries and lower than rates reported for China, Cuba, the majority of Eastern European countries, and certain Newly Independent States of the former Soviet Union (CDC).

Brother, with all of the millennials running around at child bearing age having all the insights they have about life, yes..., it does appear they would be smart enough to use birth control. If someone else pays for it, that is. ...maybe they are all Catholics. Who knows?

If these youngsters come from a protestant background and an abortion is being considered then it will all depend on the politics of the church and the appeasement of the ruling family. Of course, if the procedure came to fruition little Sally would be recognized for making that diet work for her in real time.

If they have absolutely no background in the ways of our Lord then what's the big deal? To them it's just an absence from work for a few days and a minor inconvenience. Or, just a minor inconvenience until the club opens again next Saturday.

As you know, our Lord will not be mocked. When this abortion crowd stands before Him it will be a spectacle to behold. Can you just imagine standing before the Lord having to admit (from the house top) that as a Doctor you killed 600 plus of his precious blessings? Oh my..., then, little Sally and her family will start to shaking in their boots!

...but, these folks today have their rights, no? Yep, they sure do! Just ask 'em. And they have the right to be judged, and they will be judged, and they will be held accountable, and they will suffer the consequences and..., there will be no liberal politician(s) to stand up for 'em. What a glorious day that will be! Praise the Lord!!!!!

A dying man cried out to God..., "Oh God..., send a cure for cancer". God responded..., "I did but "she" was aborted."

...may you all have a blessed day.

Won't we all have blood on our hands when we stand before God?

Isn't the real question, which of us--including those who have had abortions, advocate for them, and perform them--will have that blood covered by Jesus?

Or are you trying to say that abortion is an unpardonable sin?

Well, that is not even an argument, which is why I ignore you for the most part. All I am saying, is without acknowledgement of murdering a life, and repentance, they will answer for the sin. I do not believe believers will have abortions, because they believe God gave that small, growing life. So if a believer has an abortion, they will face judgment for murder. IMHO.

    THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE DON.

Not intentionally. Merely answering the question as posed.

Thanks for the clarification. There are believers who had an abortion (or more than one) before they were saved. Your answer clarifies your position.

    Why restrict the question to abortion. How about other sins;

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

Talk about off topic post. Because that whet he chose to make this thread about. We all know you do not like it when someone condemns abortion because you want to believe life starts at birth but that does not change the fact that any particular thread can be restricted too the whim of the author. Otherwse the responses are off topic like your here.

There you go a gain Rev. spreading falsehoods. You should be ashamed.

The poster of the OP never cites any sin other than abortion. Maybe that is the only sin in his view. I see it and many other actions or non-actions as sin ... including deliberately posting falsehoods.
