Which ones do you think should be either legalized or decriminalized?

Thanks, Brice. Almost invariably, when I put together a poll, I get a bunch of suggestions of things I left out, but it happens to lots of others so I don't feel like I'm getting picked on or the only one who doesn't do a perfect poll.

I didn't want to say anything, but the poll doesn't allow you to choose more than one drug without having to choose them all.

I'm not picking on you, either :D .

My own answer is that none should be legalized, but what prompted the poll is a very slowly growing belief that the federal government should stay out, or at least that the Supreme Court decision striking down California's medicinal marijuana law was wrongly decided. Still reading through the opinions, though. I said in another thread that I believe adults who sell them should be executed and I firmly believe that. I still wish I could come up with a Constitutional justification for the federal government to be involved in outlawing them, but now I'm not so sure that it's there.

    StefanM,

No, thanks for letting me know. I had intended that folks could select up to nine choices. Again, I screwed up another poll.

    Thanks, Stefan! ;)

Sorry for my lack of understanding here, but if a county is "dry", can people consume alcohol there, or is it only prohibited to sell it there?

Ben, I believe it is illegal to consume, produce, and distribute. I know the latter two are true.

I voted legalize marijuana. I didn't really mind the absence of check marks because I think all others should stay illegal. As for alcohol and dry counties, I guess my position is that the federal government should not make alcohol and marijuana illegal. I don't think that they should be illegal at the state level either, although I wouldn't oppose state legislation. On the local level it's up to the voters.

That excludes tylenol, cold meds, any otc med.
POt, cocaine, uppers, downers and any drug that you can be arrrested for having in your possesion should be illegal.

Two people voted to legalize "all of the above."

    Why? Please enlighten us!
