Lesbian activist: Gay marriage fight a 'lie' to destroy traditional marriage

On Monday, The Blaze's Mike Opelka wrote that video of a 2012 speech by Russian-American writer Masha Gessen is "just now going viral" and shows that supporters of traditional marriage are correct when they say gay marriage advocates want to destroy the institution of marriage.

“Gay marriage is a lie,” Gessen is heard saying in the video.

“Fighting for gay marriage generally involves lying about what we’re going to do with marriage when we get there,” she added.

“It’s a no-brainer that the institution of marriage should not exist,” she said to loud applause.
