These not so shrimpy shrimp are worrying the crud out of biologists and others afraid that their invasion will wreak havoc.

So why is the price of shrimp so outrageously high, and even more so for these giant tiger shrimp, which happen to be my favorite?

    Something isn't right.

I'll gladly take all the shrimp they're willing to give me.

But...if this really is a frightening invasion that they fear will cause major damage to the ecosystem, why are they charging an arm and a leg for the simply solution of how to decrease their population at a rapid pace...offer them at a low cost or better yet, free, and I'm sure there's a ton of us out here who would be willing to gobble them up. For the sake of the ecosystem, of course!

The tree huggers are getting very specific, here they won't hug any tree, it must be a native species. They are tearing out non-native species every chance they get and replanting with native. The same with plants and some animals. Told the wife we had better pack cuz no human is native to the area :)
