Do any of you remember the movie Independance Day, and Vivica Fox [she played Will Smith's wife] ... and when she was running through the underground tunnel with her son and dog in tow, looking for shelter from the blast of the alien space ship? Well, as she kicked in the door of the utility room she screamed out for the family dog, "Boomer, come Boomer!" And out of nowhere, with the fiery blast of explosive gases and supernovae like heat on the dog's tail, Boomer jumped up and over cars and barely made it into the room to be saved along with Vivica and her son!

Well, here is a story for the ages, AND IT ISN'T SCIENCE FICTION, OR HOLLYWOOD CONTRIVED. It is for real, and one fantastic miracle, and another reason for those doing search and rescue after a disaster, to rejoice amongst all the death and destruction they have encountered over the last 12 days!.

Boomer the dog was apparently stuck in the mud for the last twelve days, and he was rescued, and will live to bite [just a pun - he doesn't look like he'd bite anyone, just lick you to near death] another day!

    Enjoy this feel good story!

    An APOLOGY to all!!!!

Later that night, the news stations retracted their amazing story of survival, and admitted the dog was a run away, missing for three days!

I gues I was a victim like the media, hoping to get a good story to share amongst all the tragedy!

Again Boomer is just a runaway! But still a sweet kiddo!

First clue is how old the movie is and how long dogs live.
Maybe they watched "Resurrection" right before writing the story?
