Coming on the heels of having to reschedule his joint appearance before Congress he's been humiliated again.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama unexpectedly backtracked on a key piece of his environmental agenda on Friday, bowing to arguments from big business that new rules to limit smog pollution would kill jobs at the worst possible time.

Obama said the decision to withdraw a clean-air initiative by the Environmental Protection Agency formed part of an effort to reduce regulatory burdens for business, but the move will be seen as another slap against his supporters on the left.

"The Obama administration is caving to big polluters at the expense of protecting the air we breathe. This is a huge win for corporate polluters and a huge loss for public health," said Gene Karpinski, president of the League of Conservation Voters.

Business groups and Republicans said the White House was making the right decision as the country's economy continued to struggle.

The question is: Is the President a dictator?

Is he to do the will of the people, or just to oil the squeaky wheel of a few outspoken activists?

OH, was he humiliated into not enforcing DOMA?

When it comes to the EPA smog guidelines, yes, he can be a dictator. The EPA is empowered to review the guidelines and issue rules regarding how much smog is permissible.

He's supposed to do the will of the people. He ran for President on environmental issues, among other things. The will of the people was to elect him President. Now he's not following through on what he promised to do.

Obama is definitely running scared that he will lose the coming election. With nothing to lose, he would be expecially dangerous in a second term.

He needs to be fired this time.

The president is an honest politician. He sold out to the highest bidder and stayed bought. He should have ran as a Republican.

    Now That's an Interesting Comment!

Are you trying to suggest that ALL Repubs are bought off? Why can't you just admit that your guy is what he is, and he has failed at it? :tonofbricks:
