That is a ridiculous statement not worthy of a Christian! [IMG] To say that President Bush is a Muslim terrorist sympathizer is flatly not true. You are in effect stating that he is deliberately sacrificing the lives of our soldiers in Iraq for no reason. Shame on you and may God forgive you for such hatred of a brother in Jesus Christ. [IMG] </font>[/QUOTE]Don't put words in my mouth I didn't say, Old Regular.

The list is long and well documented about the Muslim sympathizers and terrorists that have been to the White House & if you check out the posts about it on the BB, you'll find them. Grover Norquist, Sami Al Arian, others. The new terrorist president of Iran who was in the group of American Hostage takers (remember him?) is being invited to the White House in a few weeks.

As far as him being a brother in Christ, consider his own words:

He got your vote, Old Reg, and the vote of Evangelical Christians, didn't he? That was the aim.

Do I hate him? No. I don't hate anybody. I pity him. And I pity our country for some of the stuff he has done.

Well, I'll take the word of the hostage takers over some "officials insisting on anonymity, saying they did not want to speak for the CIA about its report" and "officials cautioning that the analysis is not final." (from your link)

    But thanks, anyway, Ken.

Most of the former hostages say that he was not. From the article:

"Most of the former hostages have said Ahmadinejad was not present during the hostage-taking, two U.S. government officials said."

That piece of ground down there in Arkansas that your house sits on once belonged to American Indians. Are you ready to give it back today? Dont laugh. The parrallels are there.

I don't know if any American Indians ever lived on my little parcel of land or not. If they did, and the government said I had to give it back, then I wouldn't have any choice but to give it back, now would I?

    So there. ;)

I think Vineyard's letter was silly, too. To confuse a secular state with God's kingdom is pretty poor.
I tend to be pro-Israel but the Christian Zionism expressed by Vineyard is unbiblical. The kingdom will not come until Jesus returns. He doesn't need atheistic Zionists or the ultra-orthodox to help him set up the throne of David.

    You said
Notice you said at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue not people who had visited the White House.

I believe what Paul (a Jew) said to the church at Rome (Messianic Jews) in Romans Chapter 11.

Let me make it clear that I do not endorse nor agree with everything Jim Vineyard writes. He has written some pretty caustic letters and made some pretty harsh comments in the past few months.

    For example: LINK

Just curious Pastor Bob and you don't have to
answer this..you can let stand your disclaimer
    which is wise.

but what do you agree with him on?

Is he making an intense point for an intense
    moment?

Brother Vineyard and I, until recently, have had a good relationship. This issue aside, we have had our disagreements. In deference to my friendship with him, I will simply let my disclaimer stand.

For any Christian to wish hell for anyone is about as uncharitable as one can get. We are all sinners, all deserving of hell. Our salvation is from God's grace, and we should wish the same for all. (I'm referring to the link kindly provided by Paster Bob.)

I pray his policy goes to hell ..kind of like
love the sinner hate the policy.

I have been to Israel and whenever they take the
land..the land is just not taken..it is nurtured.

It is painful to see people being dragged from their homes and the positive things they have
done for the land to be given over to a people
who are unsure what they want to do with the land.

I admire the protesters and the non-violent stand
they are making, It is righteous.

The world especially Saudi Arabia should either
give them land on their turf or buy some primo
real estate on the Baja peninsula and get the whole world involved so these people have a place to go. It is just muddied ...I even question why Israel gave up the whole Sinai...what have you heard out of Sinai as if the Egyptians have turned that land into a blooming flower. I do care about the Palestinians ..Lord knows I saw them by the thousands ..they have out flanked the Israelis in Population explosion.

The Israelis should have doubled up on bringing
even more Jews to the promised land and encouraged
big families to have a strong majority base.

They got complacent, now we have this and a massive arab population that has no place to go and so bush who captivated by the Saudis like a raccoon looking at a ball of Reynolds wrap aluminum will pick the viper Kings and Princes of the Middle east over Israel.

It does my heart good to see so that many posters like ASLANPAL, StraightAndNarrow, LadyEagle have been granted the power to condemn souls to hell. And here I thought all along that the power of eternal judgement was reserved to Him. Oh well. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
