Do you watch any late night television talk shows?
Leno, if any. I try to catch his "headlines" when I can. Also, Leno's "jaywalking" is usually good. I feel smart after watching those pinheads. I also like his "99 cent store buys."
The TV usually goes off after those segments.
Yes...to all of the above, and like rbell, then it's off to bed. But remember tonight...
"It's Monday night, time for Headlines!"
As for Conan...can't take much of him.
Love Leno's headlines segments, but what about The Daily Show with John stewart or The Colbert Report? I watch these two more than anything else. anyone else catch the Daily Show's segment about the use of question marks in headlines? HYSTERICAL! :applause:
Letterman, Leno, r others/
I agree with you. I love both the Daily Show with John Stewart and the Colbert Report. If I'm upset after watching the regular news, The Daily Show and the Colbert Report provide great comic relief!
I don't watch any late night talk shows.
Not a big fan of stewart. Too political for my tastes.
One reason I've liked Leno (and really liked Johnny Carson) was that he was an equal-opportunity comic. But Carson, even more than Leno, seemed to know how to avoid going overboard with his comedy.
I try not to miss Leno's Monday night "Headlines". A couple of weeks ago he showed an article about a newly graduated physician doing her internship at "Cedars Cyanide" Hospital! I love it ... still laughing every time I hear it ... because I had some folks in my church who spelled things the way they heard them, not the way they really were.
But, like others, I don't bother with listening to the guests blather about their latest new CD, movie, or whatever.
I don't watch any late-night shows. I'm always in bed!
I have seen Jay Lenos headline news and love it but everything else on his show bores me. I don't watch any late night shows.
Used to watch a lot of Letterman here. Now I'ld like time to watch Letterman
Same here!
The headline stuff is funny - I didn't even know it came on only on Mondays. I guess I just caught it at random now and then.
I don't care about the stars and others who are interviewed. They might be good actors but that doesn't mean they have anything to offer in conversation that should cause me to watch the show. I find all the late night shows boring, boring, boring!
