UPDATE ON THE FAMILY OF ANDY BARRICK :

Please continue to be in prayer for Andy Barrick , Liberty University ’s Director of Alumni Affairs and his entire family who was hit by a drunk driver while driving home from church Sunday evening, November 5th.

Andy , his wife, Linda and two children, Jen, 15, and Josh , 11, were involved in a head-on collision with a DUI driver who was attempting to escape police and speeding at an estimated 70 mph in the wrong lane and with his lights off.

Jen’s condition is improving but she is still in serious condition at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Andy ’s condition is fair but improving. He had surgery on his pelvis on Wednesday and has been transferred to the University of Virginia Medical Center for further testing and observation.

Linda ’s post-surgery condition is much improved. She is expected to go home this weekend.

Josh ’s condition is good. He had been discharged from the hospital and is staying with friends of the family. All in all, considering the horrific accident the Barrick’s experienced, the family’s improvement is indeed miraculous.

==This is certainly true. There was a teenager near where I live killed last Friday (two days before the Liberty accident) in an exact same crash. People who drink and drive should have their licenses thrown in the trash and they should be thrown in jail for a long time. How careless can people be!
