Olberman is a third rate hack and little to no one pays attention to him except to laugh.

I disagree. Olbermann does me a valuable service. If I miss anything on Rush's daily show, I can be sure to catch it on "Countdown".

Ouch. What I don't understand is how Christians think Olberman is a great source of wisdom when he obviously hates Christians. He is the type that Jesus warned us about - those who hate Him and His followers.

I usually dislike Coulter but this was a good article. Thanks for posting it, Bro. Curtis.

I wonder if we could do better with a few less "Ivy League" college graduates in government and elsewhere as they seem to rate themselves rather highly?

I think Olbermann has pretty much exposed himself. O for the days of The Big Show with Dan Patrick. On ESPN he knew what he was talking about, and did it well. On MSNBC he has no clue what he is talking about and doesn't do it well.

I know of one Christian who thought Olberman was the exact opposite of a great source of wisdom.

Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences celebrated its centennial as New York State’s College of Agriculture in 2004-05, and is proud to begin a second century of scholarship and service. As the University’s second largest college, we support nearly 400 faculty, and serve 3,100 undergraduates, 1,100 graduate students, and upwards of 45,000 living alumni.

As we focus our attention on state, national, and global issues, our priorities include a strong Land-Grant mission of applied agriculture and food production; Applied Social Sciences, such as business, communication, education, and information technology; Environmental Sciences like natural resources and environmental engineering; and New Life Sciences like genomics and molecular biology.

Coulter just can't tell the truth about anything. The "ag school" is one of the colleges of Cornell University, you know the Ivy League school in upstate New York. This is like saying you didn't attend a university if you majored in engineering instead of history.

OK. Cornell AG school is not an IVY league college. Cornell School of Science & Arts is. Olbermann went to the former, not the latter.

    Your turn.

The Ag college is a part of Cornell Univ. not a separate college. That's what the link I posted showed.

    Comprende finally?

Um, no. They are separate schools. Your link didn't dispel that. You should do some research. Look at the numbers, this time.

The real Cornell, the School of Arts and Sciences (average SAT: 1,325; acceptance rate: 1 in 6 applicants), is the only Ivy League school at Cornell and the only one that grants a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Keith went to an affiliated state college at Cornell, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (average SAT: about that of pulling guards at the University of South Carolina; acceptance rate: 1 of every 1.01 applicants).
Olbermann's incessant lying about having an "Ivy League education" when he went to the non-Ivy League ag school at Cornell would be like a graduate of the Yale locksmithing school boasting about being a "Yale man."
Among the graduates of the Ivy League Cornell are Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Thomas Pynchon, Paul Wolfowitz, E.B. White, Sanford I. Weill, Floyd Abrams, Kurt Vonnegut, Douglas Ginsburg, Janet Reno, Henry Heimlich and Harold Bloom.
Graduates of the ag school include David LeNeveu of the Anaheim Ducks, Mitch Carefoot of the Phoenix RoadRunners, Darren Eliot, former professional hockey player, and Joe Nieuwendyk, multiple Stanley Cup winner.

My link is to the Cornell Univ. web site. This is really stupid. Can you read?

    http://www.cornell.edu/academics/colleges.cfm

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences*

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) is the second-largest undergraduate college at Cornell University and the third-largest college of its kind in the United States. It has been ranked in national surveys as the best college of agriculture and related sciences in the country.

Ann should know, she graduated from the real Cornell, not the farm school.

What do you consider the topic to be> The link in the original post pointed to an article with this title:

    Olbermann's Plastic Ivy

It made fun of Mr. Olbermann because he attended the Ag school of Cornell. She said this:

Indeed, Keith is constantly lying about his nonexistent "Ivy League" education...

Someone who graduates from an Ivy league college like Cornell has an Ivy league education. True or false? That's the point I'm making. Now, what's the topic? Obama is a communist?
