"I care about what Rush says because he saves me a lot of time and effort. He researches the subjects and then tells us Dittoheads what we should think and say about them. Then I can come on this board and repeat it. It's a very efficient system."

But this is what conservatives accuse liberals of. Not doing our own research and just believing what we're told.

    :D

KJ, I imagine there are folks, on the right and the left, that take the word of their favorite columnist, talk show host, etc. as being gospel.

But I doubt there are any of those folks posting in this forum. [IMG]

Not to mention the fact that the NAACP spent $2 million in illegal advertising trying to get Bush defeated in 2000.

Might tend to influence anyone's opinion about any organization. ;)

The NAACP is irrelevant for the GOP since they will not ever support a GOP candidate. This is the group that slandered President Bush in Texas implying he was cohorts with racists who killed a black man there. The last 2 Elections proves that a Republican doesn't need their vote. In the end it is the NAACP own fault for embracing a radical left agenda and the NAACP is notorious for it's own internal corruption and dishonesy.

In my opinion, Rush is right on 98% of the time, and does represent my viewpoint on issues most of the time.

Hannity is a bit harsh and a poor interviewer, but sure can light a fire under his listeners.

Savage is a bore, that prepares for his show very poorly, and his patented "can't you see that", which is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Indiana Black Expo {IBE) draws tens of thousands with luncheons, job fairs, health screenings, concerts, speeches, and exhibitors booths. Well armed with a foundation and a top-notch organization that reaches the Mayor of Indy, the Congressman from Indy, the Governor here in Indy the capital city of Indiana, and now the President of the USA. IBE is poised to assume a leadership role nationally.

Good-bye, NAACP. You have been replaced.

Rush became popular years ago because he exposed many of the lies and half-truths of the left media machine. He also reported facts that the left media failed to report. In a check-and-balance system, he filled a big void, and will always be considered a pioneer in radio broadcasting, because of that.

However, the “Clinton Conspiracy theories”, personal attacks, and gloating are a bit much for me. I occasionally listen to Rush, but I would never make him my sole source of information or opinion.

I would hope that no one would use one source alone for news.

You are just as entitled to your opinion as ASLANSPAL is to one, Ken.

This statement reveals that you are a dittohead.

You mean, like Rush does? He divides Americans by the term "liberal," doesn't he? You certainly appealed to me (an American) when you informed me that I wouldn't be missed if I left the GOP, didn't you? As a matter of fact, I usually see you calling someone a "liberal" in practically every discussion. Perhaps we could tone down the rhetoric......

The NAACP has done great things in the African-American community. Can any of us in White America really claim to understand the black experience here in the USA? Do you think that racism doesn't exist in America?

Rush has no credibility, and hasn't for years. You should read Blinded By The Right, and you would hear the story from someone who really knows what is going on behind the scenes.
