Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship's 2nd Presiding Bishop pulls out; failed to get top job at denomination's founder's retirement:

18 Churches in the Bahamas Quit Full Gospel Fellowship

At the Full Gospel Conference in Louisville last month "it nearly came to a scuffle between certain pastors over who should assume the post."

"Bishop Ellis was never in support of the elections. He felt that there should have just been a natural progression to the post."

Baptist fight and divide over leadership. Hmm. Nothing new under the sun.

Need to pray for Baptists in small countries around the world who face challenges unknown to us in our American comfort-zone.

A church that preaches the divisive "free expression of the gifts of the Holy Spirit" has no right to expect anything but division.

Wouldn't a "full gospel" church though have" modern day Apostles or prophets "showing them the way?

They have people who claim to be apostles and prophets, but neither office is active in the modern church. The closest thing to an "apostle" in the modern church is a missionary. The closest thing to a "prophet" in the modern church is the pastor.
